PAR-011 THE NEGATIVES – SKATE OUT 7”
It’s time for another PUNK gemm in Paramecium Records!!!
The Negatives were the first (and the best) punk from Bradford. They were formed in 1978 by Pete Stobbs (guitar), Bob Robinson (bass), Tino Palmer (drums) and Dave Wilcox (vocals). All began with an ad in the Melody Maker and next year they released the single, 1000 copies, 500 of them were sold in one day in the 'Guy Watson' shop in Bradford.
Only the first 100 copies of the original release had hand-drawn sleeve. We have chosen one of them for our reissue of 500 copies! They split in the beginning of 1980. The rest it’s Punk history.
You know this single is a (fucking) collector item, now you can get it without spent all your wage.
I know that love is not real, but we love these songs!

PAR-012 THE CIRCLES – OPENING UP 7”
And now MOD time!! in Paramecium Records:
We thought to release only old punk singles in our label but sometimes the songs win.
The Circles, from Wolverhampton, were another one year (1979-1980) band but they recorded so great songs that are remembered 40 years later.
The two songs of the single, Opening Up / Billy, represent perfectly that Mod Revival means for me (and for any ravishing mod/punk), sweet melodies plus energy.
It was reissued in 2001 by 1977 records, so this one it’s a re-reissued, but we are sure that it worths (500 copies).

Esta vez os presentamos dos pedazo singles de PUNK´77 y de MOD REVIVAL!!!

Es hora de otra joya del PUNK en Paramecium Records!!!.
The Negatives fueran la primera banda (y la mejor) de punk de Bradford. El grupo de formó en 1978 y estaba compuesto por Pete Stobbs (guitarar), Bob Robinson (bajo), Tino Palmer (batería) y Dave Wilcox (voz). Todo comenzó con un anuncio en el Melody Maker y al año siguiente editaron el single, 1000 copias de las cuales 500 se vendieron en un día en la tienda de ‘Guy Watson’ en Bradford.
Sólo las primeras 100 copias del single original tenían portada escrita a mano. Nosotros hemos elegido una de ellas para nuestra reedición (500 copias). The Negatives se separaron a comienzos de 1980 y el resto es historia del Punk.
Como sabrás este single es una (jodida) pieza de coleccionismo, y ahora lo puedes conseguir sin tener que gastarte todo un sueldo.

Y ahora tiempo para el MOD en Paramecium Records!!!
Pensábamos sacar sólo viejos singles de punk, pero a veces las canciones mandan.
The Circles, de Wolverhampton, fueron otra banda que duró sólo un año (1979-1980) pero grabaron tan grandiosas canciones que son recordadas 40 años después.
Las dos canciones del single Opening Up / Billy, representan lo que el ModRevival significa para nosotros (y para cualquier apuesto mod/punk), dulces melodías más energía.
Fue reeditado en 2001 por 1977 records, así que ésta es una re-reedición, pero estamos seguros de que lo merece (500 copias).
